If you would like to book an encounter for the day of, you must do so by phone (305) 407-3262 or in person at the facility.
In the Nursey Encounter you will have the opportunity to assist one of our Marine Biologists with the training of several species of young stingrays. The Marine Biologist will teach you the step-by-step method of behavioral training, and allow you to participate in this process.
In this exhibit we have several species of small and juvenile stingrays. This encounter is for all ages, and our biologist custom tailors the interaction during the encounter to suit the needs and questions of your group.
During this encounter, our professional Marine Biologists are constantly on-hand to assist with every aspect of your experience. They will make sure your family has an outstanding experience!
Please note that this Encounter does not require our visitors to get in the water to interact with our friendly rays. This is a DRY encounter, so no need to bring a swimsuit! All members of the family can safely enjoy this Encounter from the comfort of our touch tank deck while sharing, feeding and touching the juvenile animals. All of our stingrays are de-barbed and completely safe to touch!
