Aquarium Encounters turns 5 years old!!

Thank you so much for all the years of support and fun! We appreciate each and every visitor we have had over the years and we hope to continue our goal of educating the public daily. We have many new projects in store for this next year and can’t wait to share them all with you! Be sure to follow us on all our social media platforms to stay up to date on new events and exhibits.

From the moment we opened in 2014, our goal was to be a fun, educational, and interactive aquarium. We’ve worked hard to make our aquarium unique and personal, and strive to achieve this goal daily. Our dedicated staff makes our facility what it is, and it shows in our customer reviews, we cannot say Thank You enough to our team.

Our encounters have evolved and are constantly being perfected! We have added snorkeling into our Stingray Cove encounter, for a more personal and up-close view of the rays. We also offer an Aquarium Encounters Dive, allowing non-certified divers to dive in our largest tank, the Coral Reef. We look forward to adding interactions here and hope you all visit again to experience our growth.

Aquarium Encounters has been through a massive hurricane that devastated the Florida Keys, and came back stronger than ever. We have continued our fundraising for the Great Hammerhead Project, added a few tanks, we have participated in a few manatee rescues and releases, and have traveled to a couple outreaches! We can only imagine what this new chapter has in store for us. Thank you so much for your constant support and we hope to see you soon!
